The mission is to deliver entertaining alternative perspectives on popular culture. An avid poptimist and fan of indie music, Andy  Stone has been writing about music on various blogs since 2006. His site Compact Discography has maintained a small, but loyal audience since 2013. Eric Dern’s production work in the industry informs his unique and consistently entertaining insight into the world of blockbuster and shoestring budget filmmaking on his site Smash Cuts Film. Long time friends and colleagues, Andy and Eric formed Compact Culture in 2015 as a way to unite their perspectives in a single space.
